My Best Friend Gets Married!!

On December 11, 2010 my best friend Mary Pellerin tied the knot!! Mary and i met at MUW during music therapy school and also worked at the Fashion Barn together for several years. The wedding was just beautiful and i am so glad i got to share her special day with her and Chris!!!

A REAL Christmas Tree!!

So, this year Paul decided we needed a REAL Christmas tree. Paul went and picked it out himself!! i was SO proud :) As you can see, Gunny thought Paul needed help putting it up :) Gunny also thought the tree tasted good, i caught him several times with pieces of it in his mouth!! Oh the joys of a boxer puppy, oh and he also ate a green glitter ball of the tree!! Fun times!!

The Bachelorette!!!

Whats a wedding without a bachelorette???? Before Mary's big day she just HAD to go out and have one last fling before she put on the BLING!! We started off the night with dinner and ended it with a bang :) the following pics have been edited as not to get any of us in trouble ;)

Happy Birthday MARINES!!

November 10th marked the 235th birthday of the United Stated Marine Coprs!!! The Marines have existed since 1775, even before our country did!! They have served and protected our country in times of peace and war.

As an American, i have always had the utmost respect for our military men and women. But when you have a family member in the military, it bring a whole new light to the term "serve, honor, and protect". It is such a humbling experience to attend Ball each year and to see all the Marines in their dress blues as they stand tall and salute our flag. It brings me chills just thinking about it!!

To all those who have served or are currently serving in the military i say THANK YOU!! and to all the family's who stand behind these service men and women I say THANK YOU too!!

A Relaxing Weekend....

This past weekend Paul & I went to Tupelo and spent the weekend with his parents. Sat night we sat out by the fire and watched some football. Here are a few pics we took of the night. It was so nice to get away for a little while and RELAX!!!!

Its Fall Yall!!

Fall would not be complete with out a sweet potato pie!! My Granny Miles use to make THE BEST pies ever!! So Sunday i thought it was about time to pull out her recipe and make one for myself!! I have to say, for my frist sweet potato pie of the year, i did pretty darn good!!!

The newest addition to our family

This is Gunny when we got him at 6 weeks old :)

And this is him at 5 months!! Paul and I both had boxers when we were growing and when we saw gunny we knew he would make the perfect addition to our family!!

I'm New At This

I created a blog when i was planning our wedding and I cant even remember the address for it anymore, so i just created a new one :)
Paul & I are living a busy but wonderful life! We both are working full time and he was just hired on at OCH working part time! Life is great and i plan to share it with all our friends and family!!

Blast from the Past- Class of 2000 Reunion

Has it really been 10 years??

Its so hard to believe that it has been 10 years since we walked the halls of Starkville Academy! But it was so great to see everyone as "grown ups" now :) well some of us at least ;) Friday night was spent at the SA football game then to The Veranda for cocktails and catching up. Saturday night we had a BBQ dinner and the Mullins house. After 10 years it was so awesome to see who had become what, who had the most kids, who had changed, and who had not changed one bit!! But most of all it was awesome to reconnect with the Class of 2000!!!!
